內容簡介：
      丹頂鶴只在東北亞有分佈，在中國，位於東北部的黑龍江紮龍國家級保護區和位於華中的江蘇鹽城國家級珍禽自然保護區是中國兩個最重要的丹頂鶴棲息地，其中，紮龍保護區是野生丹頂鶴的夏季生活區域，鹽城保護區是人工繁育丹頂鶴的重要基地。

      《丹頂鶴》這部紀錄片選取了中國的一南一北兩個保護區對丹頂鶴進行拍攝。生活在中國東北的野生丹頂鶴夫妻在孵化時遇到同類襲擊，卵被來自西伯利亞的寒潮凍死，丹頂鶴夫妻的孵化過程被迫半途而廢。鹽城保護區裡，人工繁育出的小丹頂鶴遇到神秘病毒吞噬，全部死亡。本片透過2012年出生的雛鶴的命運，展現丹頂鶴成長的艱難和種群的危機。
