We’re going to clash with pirates and meet some ghosts in the most haunted city in America.

Today on the Coolest Places on Earth we’re taking you on a road trip up America’s Pacific coast from Los Angeles to Seattle and north to the rugged 49th state, Alaska. We’ll see stars in Hollywood and high above the Redwoods, rip some breakers, mush a team, hook salmon alongside some grizzlies and—“belay on”—scale some big walls. So grab your gear, your board, and your appetite, because where we’re going you’ll need the fuel.

Today on The Coolest Places on Earth we’re taking a trip to the long country, Chile, the South American nation of extreme contrasts, like bone-dry deserts and luscious waterfalls, snowy mountains and simmering volcanoes, where modern life and ancient history blend and big cities are just minutes away from exotic warm islands and frosty getaways. Episode 4 - The Coolest Places to See Wildlife：Tanzania, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Amazon Rainforest

Today on the Coolest Places on Earth: the coolest places to see wildlife. We’re off to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to follow migrating wildebeests and track big cats. Then we’ll fly over and dive under Australia’s Technicolor Great Barrier Reef. And last but not least, we’ll take a boat into the heart of the most diverse place on earth, the Amazon Rainforest. Next stop? Adventure.

Today on the Coolest Places on Earth: We’re motoring across America on an epic outdoor adventure to explore its greatest National Parks. We’ll climb Yosemite’s El Cap, cheat on Yellowstone’s Old Faithful, and uncover the reason these stones are moving by themselves across Death Valley. We’ll duck under amber arches, drive through giant redwoods, and get as close as we can to all creatures big, bigger, and biggest.


Episode 6 - Top and Bottom: The World Above the 60th Parallel and Below

Today on the Coolest Places on Earth: We’re plotting a course for global adventure…exploring amazing places at the top of the world and at the bottom, from Iceland to the tip of Argentina and northern Canada to Tasmania. We’re talking latitude with attitude. Because where we’re going, we don’t need roads. We need ice breakers, bush planes, skis, and tough, tireless sled dogs.
