  Travelling through jungles, deserts, mountains, islands,grasslands and cities, Planet Earth II explores the unique characteristics of Earth’s most iconic habitats and the extraordinary ways animals survive within them. New technology has allowed individual stories to be captured in an unparalleled level of detail.

第1集 - Islands島嶼
　　上一輯《天與地》距今十年，期間地球經歷了幾番變遷。艾登保祿爵士再帶大家走遍世界每一角落，頌揚壯闊瑰麗的生命奇蹟！第一段旅程涉足多個風光明媚的偏遠島嶼，探索動物掙扎求存期間所面對的種種挑戰。
  It's been 10 years since we explored many wonders in the first series of ‘Planet Earth’ and since then much has changed. Sir David Attenborough brings us once again to every corners of the Earth to celebrate the splendour and grandeur of life miracles. The first leg of this splendid journey takes us to remote idyllic islands to explore the challenges of islanders have to face in their struggle to survival.

第2集 - Mountains高山
　　本集齊齊登高，攀上幾座世界最高山峰，並且觀摩當地的野生動物。高山上的惡劣環境，栽培出地球上生命最具韌力的物種。一起看看牠們怎樣在覓食、繁殖以及對抗嚴冬的重重困難下，仍然掙扎求存。
  This episode takes us up to some of the highest peaks in the world and meet their inhabitants. Life at extreme altitude has shaped some of the toughest species on planet Earth. Let's explore their extraordinary ability to overcome the hardship of survival in feeding, reproducing and fighting against the elements.

第3集 - Jungles森林
　　今回前去世上最富庶的地方：森林，並探索森林的日與夜，以及一幕幕野生生物的動態面貌。美洲豹捕捉凱門鱷，淡水豚在樹頂游弋，忍者蛙擊退黃蜂，每種生物都要在激烈的競爭中求生。
  This time we go to the richest places on earth: jungles. Let's explore the jungle night and day and see wildlife drama unfolds. From flooded forests that are home to caiman hunting Jaguars and strange dolphins that swim amongst the tree tops, to the dense underworld where ninja frogs fight off wasps and flying dragons soar between trees, competition is the cold fact of life.

第4集 - Deserts沙漠
　　沙漠的惡劣環境，逼使動物無所不用其極，跨越重重險阻。一群飢餓獅子，襲擊一頭體型比牠們大幾倍的長頸鹿。斑馬與沙雞千里迢迢去尋覓難能可貴的水窪。此外，本集率先披露一隻小蝙蝠單挑奇毒蠍子，為的只是填飽肚子。
  Under the brutal extremes of deserts, animals are forced to go to deeper lengths in order to survive every position ordeal they encounter. A pride of hungry lions risk hunting a giraffe several times their size, while zebras and sandgrouses travel many kilometres to find rare waterhole. Filmed for the first time, a tiny bat takes on one of the world's deadliest scorpions just to get it's stomach full.

第5集 - Grasslands草原
　　地球上許多壯麗奇觀都在草原上演，而草原動物往往受到這片難以捉摸但豐盛富庶的土地擺布。今集有獅子與水牛搏鬥的場面，還有巨型食蟻獸撕開高聳白蟻丘，以及北美馴鹿展開最漫長的陸上動物遷徙旅程。
  Grasslands are home to Earth's some of the greatest wildlife spectacles, and its inhabitants are at the mercy of these unpredictable but ultimately bountiful lands. Witness epic battles between lions and buffalo, giant ant-eaters smashing huge termite nest and, last but not least, caribou setting off on the greatest overland trek made by any animal.

第6集 - Cities城市
　　城市由人類設計和建立，為滿足一己的需要。而會否邀請野生動物回歸，亦由我們決定。今集揭示花豹怎樣在印度孟買求生，埃塞俄比亞有鬣狗與城市人建立了出乎意料的關係。新加坡的綠化計劃將大自然帶進城市中。
  Man-made urban landscape is entirely designed and constructed by us for our own purpose, but would we invite the wildlife back is, again, up to us. Let's explore how leopards make their living in Mumbai, India. Clans of hyenas had broke the trandition and established surprising relationship with city-dwellers in Ethiopia. We will also see how greening the city in Singapore helps to bring nature into city environment.
